02Information collected

We only collect what you send us through the demo request form:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number (optional);
• the content of your message.

This site uses no analytics or advertising tools. We do not build any visitor profiles.

03Purposes and consent

Your information is used solely to respond to your request: getting back to you, preparing a demo of your website and following up on our exchanges.

You give your consent by checking the box provided for this purpose in the form, before submitting it. The form cannot be sent unless this box is checked.

We never sell, rent or trade your information. It is not shared with any third party, except the hosting provider required for the form to work (see section 05) or where required by law.

04Retention and security

We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain our relationship. Once it is no longer needed, it is securely destroyed.

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to incoming requests is limited to the PIXL8 staff who need to respond to them. In the event of a confidentiality incident posing a risk of serious harm, we will notify the individuals concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.

05Hosting

This site and its form are hosted by Netlify. This provider's servers may be located outside Quebec, notably in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed there. We assessed this transfer and chose this provider for the security measures it applies.

06Cookies

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It only stores, in your browser's session storage, a technical flag used for animations (for example, to avoid replaying the loading screen). This flag does not identify you and is cleared when you close the tab.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google in order to display them.

07Your rights

At any time, you may:

• access the information we hold about you;
• request its correction if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• withdraw your consent and request its deletion;
• request its portability, in a structured, commonly used technological format.

08Applicable laws and complaints

PIXL8 is based in Quebec. This policy is grounded in the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as modernized by Law 25. Depending on your situation, other laws may apply, such as PIPEDA in Canada or the GDPR in Europe.

If you believe your information has not been handled properly, please contact us first. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

09Policy updates
